Amendment of section 16

Section 16 of the principal Act is amended by inserting, immediately after subsection (4), the following subsection:“(5) For the purposes of this section and section 17 —

(a)

any reference to “conciliator” shall include a reference to any person who acts as a mediator; (b)any reference to “conciliation proceedings” shall include a reference to mediation proceedings.”.
