Amendment of First Schedule
Paragraph 1(1) of the First Schedule to the principal Act is amended —
(a)
by deleting the word “or” at the end of sub-paragraph (h); and
(b)
by deleting the full-stop at the end of sub-paragraph (i) and substituting a semi-colon, and by inserting immediately thereafter the following sub-paragraphs:“(j)the Council is satisfied that a sole solicitor has abandoned his practice; or
(k)
the Council is satisfied that a person has acted as a solicitor at a time when he did not have a practising certificate which was in force.”.
