Repeal and re-enactment of section 371
Section 371 of the Companies Act is repealed and the following section substituted therefor:“Transitory provisions371.—
(1)
On the registration of a foreign company under this Division, the Registrar shall issue a notice in the prescribed form and the notice shall be prima facie evidence in all courts of the particulars mentioned in the notice.(2) Upon the application of the foreign company that has been duly registered and payment of the prescribed fee, the Registrar shall issue to the foreign company a certificate, under his hand and seal, confirming the particulars mentioned in the notice, and the certificate shall be prima facie evidence in all courts of those particulars.”.
