Amendment of section 17
Section 17 of the Companies Act is amended —
(a)
by deleting the words “certificate of incorporation” in the 2nd line of subsection (8) and substituting the words “notice of incorporation”; and
(b)
by inserting, immediately after subsection (8), the following subsection:“(9) Upon the application of a company and payment of the prescribed fee, the Registrar shall issue to the company a certificate of confirmation of incorporation under his hand and seal.”.
