Repeal and re-enactment of section 15

Section 15 of the principal Act is repealed and the following section substituted therefor:“Association’s symbols15.—

(1)

The Association shall have the exclusive right to the use of such symbols (referred to in this section as the Association’s symbols) as it may devise or adopt from time to time and thereafter display or exhibit in connection with its activities or affairs.(2) The Association shall publish the Association’s symbols in the Gazette.(3) Any person who uses a symbol identical with, or which so resembles, any of the Association’s symbols as to be likely to deceive or cause confusion, shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $10,000.”.
