Amendment of section 4A
Section 4A of the principal Act is amended by deleting subsection (1) and substituting the following subsections:“(1) The Board shall, with the President’s concurrence under Article 22A(1)(b) of the Constitution, appoint a chief executive officer on such terms and conditions as the Board may determine.(1A) The chief executive officer shall be —
(a)
known by such designation as the Board may determine; and
(b)
responsible to the Board for the proper administration and management of its functions and affairs in accordance with all policies laid down by the Board.”.
