Clause 13

Amendment of section 27

Section 27 of the principal Act is amended —

(a)

by deleting the words “For the purpose of section 25(b), a person with” in the 1st line and substituting the words “A person applying for registration by virtue of”;

(b)

by deleting paragraph (a) and substituting the following paragraph: “(a)a certificate of experience, or a certificate approved by the Medical Council as being equivalent to a certificate of experience and granted by a hospital or an institution outside Singapore that is recognised by the Medical Council for the purpose of this paragraph; or”; and

(c)

by deleting the words “certificate under section 26” in paragraph (b) and substituting the words “certificate of experience”.
