Amendment of section 46

Section 46(1) of the principal Act is amended by deleting the words “if it thinks fit, direct his name to be restored to the register.” in the penultimate and last lines and substituting the following words:“if it thinks fit direct —

(a)

that his name be restored to the register; or

(b)

that he be registered as a medical practitioner with conditional registration in Part II of the Register of Medical Practitioners, and section 21(4) to (8) shall apply accordingly.”.
