Amendment of section 58

Section 58(2) of the principal Act is amended —

(a)

by deleting paragraph (b) and substituting the following paragraph:“(b)regulating the grant and renewal of practising certificates, including prescribing conditions for such grant and renewal;”; and

(b)

by inserting, immediately after paragraph (d), the following paragraph:“(da)enabling a Disciplinary Committee, the Health Committee and an Interim Orders Committee to order and give discovery and inspection of documents for the purpose of any proceedings before them;”.
