Amendment of section 72
Section 72 of the principal Act is amended —
(a)
by inserting, immediately after paragraph (g) of subsection (1), the following paragraph:“(ga)the prescribing of any measure, the prohibition of any act, or the imposing of a duty to do any act, necessary to prevent or control the spread of an infectious disease;”; and
(b)
by deleting “$5,000” in subsection (2) and substituting the words “$10,000 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 6 months or to both”.
