Amendment of section 16
Section 16 of the principal Act is amended —
(a)
by deleting subsection (1) and substituting the following subsection:“(1) The Director may, in his discretion, order any person who is, or is suspected to be, a case or carrier or contact of an infectious disease to undergo surveillance for such period of time and subject to such conditions as the Director thinks fit.”; and
(b)
by deleting the words “or requirement” in subsection (2).
