Amendment of Third Schedule
The Third Schedule to the principal Act is amended —
by inserting, immediately after the words “section 283” in paragraph 8(1), the words “that is authorised under section 286 or recognised under section 287, as the case may be,”;
by inserting, immediately after the words “section 283” in paragraph 8(2), the words “that is authorised under section 286 or recognised under section 287, as the case may be,”; and
by deleting paragraph 9 and substituting the following paragraph:“9. A foreign company whose carrying on of any regulated activity is effected under an arrangement between the foreign company (on the one hand) and its related corporation which is licensed under this Act or exempted under section 99(1)(a), (b), (c) or (d) (on the other hand), where such arrangement is approved by the Authority.”.
