Clause 30

Amendment of section 65

Section 65 of the principal Act is amended —

(a)

by deleting the words “at which securities or futures contracts are to be liquidated” in subsection (1)(b);

(b)

by deleting the words “for any securities or futures contracts” in subsection (1)(c);

(c)

by deleting the words “in any securities or futures contract or class of securities or futures contracts” in subsection (2)(a); and

(d)

by deleting the words “clearing and settlement of transactions in securities or futures contracts or any class of securities or futures contracts” in subsection (2)(b) and substituting the words “arrangements for the clearing or settlement of any transaction or class of transactions”.
