Amendment of section 35W
Section 35W of the Insurance Act is amended by deleting subsection (1) and substituting the following subsection:“(1) No person shall carry on business as any type of insurance broker in Singapore unless —
(a)
the person is registered by the Authority as that type of insurance broker; or
(b)
the person is exempted from registration under section 35ZN.”.
