Clause 13

by inserting, immediately after subsection (1) of section 4, the following subsection:“(1A) In addition to the powers and duties under subsection (1), the Public Trustee may undertake such other functions and duties relating to victims of motor accidents and their claims to compensation as the Minister may assign to him.”; and

by deleting subsections (2), (3) and (4) of section 23 and substituting the following subsection:“(2) All rules made under this section shall be presented to Parliament as soon as possible after publication in the Gazette.”.
