Amendment of section 58
Section 58 of the principal Act is amended —
(a)
by deleting the words “In favour of purchasers,” in the 1st line of subsection (1) and substituting the words “Subject to subsection (4), in favour of purchasers,”; and
(b)
by inserting, immediately after subsection (3), the following subsection:“(4) Where an instrument dealing with land (whether registered or unregistered) is an electronic instrument, it shall be deemed to have been duly executed by a corporation aggregate if it is executed in such manner and form as may be approved by the Registrar.”.
