Amendment of section 9
Section 9 of the principal Act is amended by deleting subsection (1) and substituting the following subsection:“(1) The Authority or any person authorised by the Authority shall have the right to enter upon and take possession of any land or part thereof not being State land —
(a)
to construct or improve any street; and
(b)
to construct, install, improve or remove any road structure or road related facility,in, under or over the land, and to do all things as are reasonably necessary in connection therewith.”.
