Miscellaneous amendments
The Societies Act is amended —
(a)
by deleting “$1,000” in the following provisions and substituting in each case “$5,000”:Sections 10(3) and (4), 19(3), 20 and 24(5);
(b)
by deleting “$1,000” in the following provisions and substituting in each case “$3,000”:Sections 11(2) and 13(3);
(c)
by deleting “$500” in section 12(2) and substituting “$3,000”;
(d)
by deleting “$3,000” in the following provisions and substituting in each case “$5,000”:Sections 14(3), 15(1), 16(1) and 23(2);
(e)
by deleting “$4,000” in section 16(2) and substituting “$5,000”;
(f)
by deleting “$2,000” in the following provisions and substituting in each case “$5,000”:Sections 17 and 18; and
(g)
by deleting “$200” in section 29(6) and substituting “$1,000”.
