Clause 8

by deleting the words “prescribed renewal fee” in subsection (1) and substituting the words “fee referred to in subsection (3A) or the fees referred to in subsection (3B), as the case may be”; and

by deleting subsection (3) and substituting the following subsections:“(3) A request for renewal shall be made not later than 6 months after the date of expiry of the registration.(3A) Where the request for renewal is made on or before the date of expiry of the registration, the fee payable shall be the prescribed renewal fee.(3B) Where the request for renewal is made within the period of 6 months after the date of expiry of the registration, the fees payable shall be the prescribed renewal fee and the prescribed late renewal fee.”.
