Amendment of section 74

Section 74 of the Patents Act is amended —

(a)

by deleting the words “Subject to this section, the” in subsection (1) and substituting the word “The”; and

(b)

by deleting the words “shall be made a party” in subsection (3) and substituting the words “need not be made a party”.
