Decision of Compensation Board to be final
(1)
Except as provided in this section, a decision of a Compensation Board shall be final and binding on the parties.
(2)
An appeal shall lie to the High Court on any question of law arising out of a decision of a Compensation Board and on the determination of such an appeal the Court may, by order —
confirm, vary or set aside the decision of the Compensation Board; or
direct the Compensation Board to reconsider its decision on the basis of the Court’s opinion on the question of law which was the subject of the appeal,and where a direction is given under paragraph (b), the Compensation Board shall, unless the Court otherwise directs, make its order within 3 months of the date of the order.
