Clause 102

Protection of information

(1)

No person shall, otherwise than in the performance of his duties or in the course of his business, reveal any information of a private or confidential nature which was acquired by him or which came to his knowledge in the course of his duties —

(a)

as an auxiliary police officer; or

(b)

in connection with an Auxiliary Police Force, whether or not he is an auxiliary police officer.

(2)

Any person who contravenes subsection (1) shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $5,000 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 2 years or to both.
