Clause 3
Constitution of Police Force
(1)
As from the appointed day, the Singapore Police Force established and maintained under the repealed Act shall continue and be deemed to be established and maintained under this Act.
(2)
The Police Force shall consist of such number of —
(a)
senior police officers; and
(b)
other police officers below the rank of inspector,as are from time to time approved by the Minister.
(3)
The Police Force shall also be known as the Polis Repablik Singapura.
