Clause 7

Amendment of section 85

Section 85(2) of the principal Act is amended by deleting paragraph (c) and substituting the following paragraph:“(c)the licensed person —

(i)

being the holder of a capital markets services licence, ceases to carry on business in that regulated activity; or

(ii)

being a representative, ceases to act as a representative in respect of that regulated activity,during the period to which the licence fee relates; or”.
