Clause 39

False representation as to registration as limited liability partnership

If any person knowingly holds out that a business is registered as a limited liability partnership under this Act, the person shall, where he knows or ought to have known that at the material time the business was not registered as a limited liability partnership under this Act, be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $10,000 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 2 years or to both.
