Amendment of section 63

Section 63(1) of the Companies Act is amended —

(a)

by deleting the words “and nominal amounts” in paragraph (a);

(b)

by deleting paragraph (b) and substituting the following paragraphs:“(b)the amount (if any) paid or deemed to be paid on the allotment of each share;

(ba)the amount (if any) unpaid on each share referred to in paragraph (b);”; and

(c)

by inserting, immediately after the word “company” in paragraph (d)(ii), the words “(excluding treasury shares)”.
