Amendment of section 164A
Section 164A(1) of the Companies Act is amended —
(a)
by inserting, immediately after the word “company” in paragraph (a), the words “(excluding the company itself if it is registered as a member)”; and
(b)
by deleting paragraph (b) and substituting the following paragraph:“(b)a member or members with at least 5% of the total number of issued shares of the company (excluding treasury shares),”.
