Amendment of section 10

Section 10 of the Architects Act is amended —

(a)

by deleting the words “to the Commissioner of Building Control” in subsection (2) and substituting the words “to a building authority or to a public authority (as defined in section 3(4))”;

(b)

by inserting, immediately after the words “a licensed partnership” in subsection (3)(b), the words “, a licensed limited liability partnership”;

(c)

by inserting, immediately after the word “corporation” wherever it appears in subsection (4), the words “or limited liability partnership”;

(d)

by inserting, immediately after the words “a licensed partnership” in subsection (5)(i), the words “, a licensed limited liability partnership”;

(e)

by inserting, immediately after the words “registered architects” in subsection (5)(i), the words “who have in force a practising certificate”;

(f)

by inserting, immediately after the words “a licensed partnership” in subsection (5)(ii), the words “or limited liability partnership”; and

(g)

by inserting, immediately after the words “a licensed corporation” in subsection (5)(iii), the words “or limited liability partnership”.
