Clause 6

Amendment of section 6

Section 6 of the principal Act is amended —

(a)

by deleting subsections (2) and (3) and substituting the following subsection:“(2) No person shall use the carat (metric) for trade except for the purposes of transactions in precious stones or pearls.”; and

(b)

by deleting the words “subsection (1), (2) or (3)” in subsection (4) and substituting the words “subsection (1) or (2)”.
