Amendment of section 64
Section 64(5) of the Competition Act 2004 is amended —
(a)
by deleting the word “and” at the end of paragraph (d); and
(b)
by deleting the full-stop at the end of paragraph (e)(ii) and substituting the word “; and”, and by inserting immediately thereafter the following paragraph:“(f)take any step which appears to be necessary for the purpose of preserving or preventing interference with any document which he considers relates to any matter relevant to the investigation.”.
