Clause 2

Section 2 of the Misuse of Drugs Act (referred to in this Act as the principal Act) is amended by deleting the definition of “officer of the Bureau” and substituting the following definition:“ “officer of the Bureau” means the Director or any person appointed under section 3 as a Deputy Director, an Assistant Director or an officer of the Central Narcotics Bureau;”.
