Amendment of section 34

Section 34 of the principal Act is amended —

(a)

by inserting, immediately after subsection (4), the following subsection:“(4A) The Director may, under such circumstances as may be prescribed, extend the period for which a person is subject to supervision under subsection (2)(a) for a period not exceeding 2 years.”; and

(b)

by deleting the words “subsection (2)” in subsection (5) and substituting the words “subsection (2)(b)”.
