Disclosure of interests of member of Board or Council
(1)
A member of the Board or Council who has a direct or indirect pecuniary interest in a matter being considered or about to be considered by the Board or Council, as the case may be, being an interest that could conflict with the proper performance of that member’s functions in relation to the consideration of the matter shall, as soon as practicable after the relevant facts have come to the knowledge of that member, disclose the nature of that interest at a meeting of the Board or Council, as the case may be.
(2)
A disclosure under subsection (1) shall be recorded in the minutes of the meeting of the Board or Council, as the case may be.
