Clause 22

Transitional provision

Any person who immediately before the date of commencement of the Electricity (Amendment) Act 2006 has been transmitting electricity for or on behalf of a transmission licensee may continue to do so as if this Act had not been enacted —

(a)

for a period of 14 days (or such further period as the Authority may determine) from that date; or

(b)

if, before the expiration of that period, that person applies for a licence under section 9(1)(ba) of the principal Act in force as from that date, until the date on which the licence is granted or the application is refused or withdrawn.
