Amendment of section 6
Section 6 of the Electricity Act is amended —
(a)
by inserting, immediately after paragraph (b) of subsection (1), the following paragraph:“(ba)transmit electricity for or on behalf of a transmission licensee (other than as an employee of the transmission licensee);”; and
(b)
by inserting, immediately after “$500,000” in subsection (2), the words “and, in the case of a continuing offence, to a further fine not exceeding $12,500 for every day or part thereof during which the offence continues after conviction”.
