Clause 10

by deleting the words “or accounting firm” in subsections (1) (3rd line), (4) and (6) and the section heading and substituting in each case the words “, accounting firm or accounting LLP”;

by inserting the word “or” at the end of subsection (1)(a);

by deleting paragraph (b) of subsection (1); and

by deleting subsection (5) and substituting the following subsection:“(5) Notwithstanding anything in this section, section 27 of the Companies Act or section 19 of the Limited Liability Partnerships Act 2005 (Act 5 of 2005), where the Oversight Committee is satisfied that the name of an accounting corporation, accounting firm or accounting LLP has been approved (whether through inadvertence or otherwise and whether originally or by change of name) in contravention of subsection (1), the Oversight Committee may direct the accounting corporation, accounting firm or accounting LLP to change its name.”.
