Amendment of section 25
Section 25 of the principal Act is amended by deleting subsection (2) and substituting the following subsection:“(2) Where, at the time of the death of a member of the Fund, no person has been nominated by him under subsection (1), the total amount payable on his death out of the Fund shall be paid to the Public Trustee for disposal in accordance with —
(a)
the Intestate Succession Act (Cap. 146), if the member is not a Muslim at the time of his death; or
(b)
section 112 of the Administration of Muslim Law Act (Cap. 3), if the member is a Muslim at the time of his death.”.
