Clause 3

Amendment of section 4

Section 4 of the principal Act is amended —

(a)

by deleting “4” in subsection (4)(d) and substituting “7”; and

(b)

by inserting, immediately after subsection (4), the following subsection:“(4A) The Minister, with the President’s concurrence under Article 22A(1)(b) of the Constitution, may appoint the chief executive officer to be a member of the Board.”.
