Clause 13

Repeal and re-enactment of section 14

Section 14 of the principal Act is repealed and the following section substituted therefor:“Regulations14.—

(1)

The Minister for Home Affairs may make regulations —

(a)

to prescribe anything which may be prescribed under section 4; and

(b)

to prescribe any other matter which may be necessary for the purpose of carrying section 4 or 5 into effect.(2) The Minister for Finance may make regulations —

(a)

to provide for the manner in which the duty chargeable under this Act shall be payable;

(b)

to prescribe anything which may be prescribed under section 6; and

(c)

to prescribe any other matter which may be necessary for the purpose of carrying section 6, 7 or 8 into effect.”.
