Clause 7

by deleting the words “member of the Faculty” in subsection (5)(c) and substituting the words “member of the Faculty of Law of the National University of Singapore or the Faculty of Law of the Singapore Management University”; and

by inserting, immediately after subsection (7), the following subsection:“(8) Any person who, on or after the date of commencement of this subsection, holds office as the Attorney-General or the Solicitor-General shall, if he is not a Senior Counsel, be deemed to have been appointed as Senior Counsel under this section on that date or the date on which he is appointed Attorney-General or Solicitor-General, whichever is the later.”.
