Clause 14

No person shall, except with the prior approval in writing of the Director-General and in accordance with such conditions, limitations and exceptions as may be specified by the Director-General, transport any radioactive waste.

Any person who contravenes subsection (1) shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $50,000 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 12 months or to both.
