Clause 7

Application for licences, etc.

(1)

An application for the grant or renewal of a licence shall be made to the Director-General in such form and manner as the Director-General may require and shall be accompanied by the prescribed fee.

(2)

An applicant for a licence shall furnish such information and documents as the Director-General may in any case require.

(3)

The Director-General may, in his discretion —

(a)

grant or renew a licence subject to such conditions, limitations and exceptions as may be specified by the Director-General;

(b)

during the currency of a licence, revoke or vary any condition, limitation or exception attached to the licence, or attach new conditions, limitations or exceptions to the licence;

(c)

refuse any application for the grant or renewal of a licence; or

(d)

suspend a licence for such period as he may determine, or cancel a licence.

(4)

A licence shall, unless earlier cancelled or suspended, remain in force for such period as may be specified in the licence.
