Clause 17
Validity of Singapore document of identity, etc.
A Singapore document of identity or other emergency travel document in section 16 shall be valid for such a time as, in the opinion of the Controller, will be sufficient to enable the person —
(a)
to leave and return to Singapore;
(b)
to return to Singapore; or
(c)
to complete his specified journey,as the case may require.
