(a)Section 68 (i)Delete the words “Pharmacists Registration Act (Cap. 230)” in paragraph (a) and substitute the words “Pharmacists Registration Act 2007 and has in force a valid practising certificate issued under that Act”. (ii)Delete the words “Pharmacists Registration Act” in paragraph (b) and substitute the words “Pharmacists Registration Act 2007 and has in force a valid practising certificate issued under that Act”.(b)Section 71(3) Delete the words “Pharmacists Registration Act (Cap. 230)” and substitute the words “Pharmacists Registration Act 2007 and has in force a valid practising certificate issued under that Act”. (2)Medicines Act (Chapter 176, 1985 Ed.) (a)Section 2(1) Delete the definition of “pharmacist” and substitute the following definition: “ “pharmacist” means a person who is registered as a pharmacist under the Pharmacists Registration Act 2007 and has in force a valid practising certificate issued under that Act;”.(b)Section 41(2) (i)Delete the words “Pharmacists Registration Act” and substitute the words “Pharmacists Registration Act 2007”. (ii)Delete the marginal reference “(Cap. 230)”. (3)Poisons Act (Chapter 234, 1999 Ed.) (a)Section 2 Delete the definition of “pharmacist” and substitute the following definition: “ “pharmacist” means a person who is registered as a pharmacist under the Pharmacists Registration Act 2007 and has in force a valid practising certificate issued under that Act;”.(b)Section 20(1) Delete the word “registered” in paragraph (i). (4)Private Hospitals and Medical Clinics Act (Chapter 248, 1999 Ed.) Section 13(2) Delete paragraph (b) and substitute the following paragraph: “(b)for the purpose of making a complaint or providing information under Part V of the Dental Registration Act (Cap. 76), Part VII of the Medical Registration Act (Cap. 174) or Part VI of the Pharmacists Registration Act 2007; or”. (5)Statutory Corporations (Contributions to Consolidation Fund) Act (Chapter 319A, 2004 Ed.) The Schedule Delete item 28 and substitute the following item: “28.Singapore Pharmacy Council”.Pharmacists Registration Act 2007”.
