Repeal and re-enactment of section 8

Section 8 of the principal Act is repealed and the following section substituted therefor:“Prohibition of use of emblem without authority

8. No person shall, without the authority of the Minister, use for any purpose in Singapore —

(a)

the red crescent emblem;

(b)

the red cross emblem;

(c)

the red crystal emblem;

(d)

the red lion and sun emblem; or

(e)

the words “Red Cross” or “Geneva Cross”.”.
