Amendment of section 2

Section 2 of the Land Acquisition Act (referred to in this Act as the principal Act) is amended —

(a)

by deleting the words “or a statutory tenant under the Control of Rent Act” in the definition of “person interested” in subsection (1);

(b)

by deleting the marginal reference “Cap. 58.” in the definition of “person interested” in subsection (1);

(c)

by inserting, at the end of subsection (2)(a), the word “and”; and

(d)

by deleting paragraph (b) of subsection (2).
