Amendment of section 17
Section 17 of the Dentists Act is amended by deleting subsections (6) and (7) and substituting the following subsection:“(6) The Council may —
(a)
refuse to grant a practising certificate to a registered dentist; or
(b)
refuse to renew the practising certificate of a registered dentist,if the registered dentist has contravened any condition that is imposed by the Council with the approval of the Minister for the purposes of this section.”.
