Amendment of section 20
Section 20 of the Dentists Act is amended —
(a)
by deleting the word “and” at the end of subsection (1)(c)(ii);
(b)
by deleting the full-stop at the end of paragraph (d) of subsection (1) and substituting the word “; and”, and by inserting immediately thereafter the following paragraph:“(e)remove from the appropriate register the name of any person who has requested and shown sufficient reason for his name to be removed from that register, unless a complaint has been made, or an inquiry has, or investigations or proceedings have, commenced under Part V against that person.”; and
(c)
by deleting the words “and who has no address in Singapore at which he can be found” in subsection (2).
