Amendment of section 8
Section 8 of the Dentists Act is amended —
(a)
by deleting the words “section 3(2)(a)” in subsection (1)(f) and substituting the words “section 3(2)(c), (d) or (e)”; and
(b)
by inserting, immediately after subsection (5), the following subsection:“(5A) Any person elected or appointed to fill the vacancy shall hold office for the remainder of the term for which the vacating member was elected or appointed.”.
