by deleting the word “The” and substituting the words “Subject to subsection (2), the”; and

by renumbering the section as subsection (1) of that section, and by inserting immediately thereafter the following subsections:“(2) The First Schedule shall apply, with such modifications as may be prescribed under subsection (3), to a solicitor registered by the Attorney-General under section 130N, in respect of the solicitor’s practice of Singapore law in a Joint Law Venture or its constituent foreign law practice, a Qualifying Foreign Law Practice or a licensed foreign law practice.(3) The Minister may, after consulting the Attorney-General, make rules to prescribe the modifications to be made to the First Schedule for the purposes of subsection (2).”.
